The Bahamas Guest House offers quality guest accommodation set well back from the road with ample free parking for all our hotel guests. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the property. The room price does not include breakfast as this gives flexibility to our guests. Our Full-English breakfasts are highly rated, can be order and pay after check-in at £10/person. We have a daily housekeeping service.
The guest house has a great location, just a short, level walk from Torquay’s main beach, Torre Abbey Sands and the main promenade. A further 10-minute walk along the promenade will bring you to the marina and the main shopping area. Closer still are the recently restored Torre Abbey and the English Riviera Center, with its conference, sporting and leisure pool facilities. There are great public transport facilities nearby and there is convenient road access to the amazing Torbay and South Devon beaches and other attractions. These include Cockington Country Park and Craft centre, English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, the Princess Theatre, Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village and Bygones. In Paignton you will find the Zoo, the pier, and the Geo Gardens. Some fantastic beaches you can explore include Goodrington Sands, Broadsands, & Oddicombe Beach. Try visiting Brixham where you will find the working fishing port, Berry Head, Greenway House (Agatha Christie’s House). A trip to beautiful Dartmouth or Totnes is also recommended and for ramblers who enjoy a good walk there is also easy access to the South Devon Coastal Path.
All bedrooms include tea/coffee facilities, kettle, quiet refrigerator with daily supply of fresh milk & Devon water, private bathroom with toiletries , towels, hairdryers, desk and chair. Ironing facility is available in the hall way. In addition we have EV chargers situated in our car park.
